ABC 2018 will be held at the GenX Agra Hotel Agra, India.


A number of rooms have been blocked at the GenX Agra Hotel.  

To get the conference rate delegates must make reservations by emailing Shirina Sawhney (

Delegates must including the following information:

1. Delegate name, home address, telephone, email address

2. Number of rooms required

3. Number of delegates per room

4. Type of room required (single / double)

5. Check in and check out date

6. Passport copy


The ABC 2018 India delegate room reservation rates are:

Standard Room including breakfast + wifi (single occupancy) = INR 2000 (approx. US$27) 

Standard Room including breakfast + wifi (double occupancy) = INR 2500 (approx. US$32) 

Delegates are encouraged to confirm their hotel bookings before the 15th of October to use the above mentioned rates. As there are only 25 rooms blocked at this rate, please ensure to make the reservation with us as soon as possible.

Many other hotels can also be found in the surrounding area but transportation will only be arranged to/from this hotel.

Delhi airport (DEL), also known as Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI Airport), is the airport which serves New Delhi.

From the airport it’s a 3-4 hour drive to Agra.

For those staying in Delhi before or after the workshop, or making their own way to Agra:

We are working to coordinate transportation from Delhi to Agra for international delegates flying into Delhi (or any local delegates leaving from Delhi). Most international delegates will be arriving late night on Dec 1 / early morning on Dec 2 so transportation will be coordinated to take those delegates from the airport to Agra on the morning of Dec 2.  Departure times will be confirmed closer to the date.  Some delegates are coming in a day or two earlier and we are working to coordinate a transport for them as well on the morning of Dec 1.  Please inform us of your flight details so we can coordinate (, 


Transportation between the GenX Agra Hotel and the Agra Bear Rescue Facility will be coordinated for the day at the ABRF on Dec 6.  Additionally any local delegates staying at the WSOS volunteer house will be transported to the GenX Agra Hotel and back on Dec 3-5.  Departure times will be confirmed closer to the date.  Delegates choosing other lodging options will be responsible for their own transportation from the airport and between their hotel and the GenX Agra Hotel.

For those delegates not participating in the post-workshop trips, transportation from Agra back to Delhi will be coordinated for the evening of Dec 6.
