About the Event
This presentation will cover what I believe to be the fundamentals of a goal based
enrichment program for any bear species. We will also discuss why natural behaviors are so
important to an enrichment program and how to actually find, target and exploit these
behaviors to make enrichment programs successful both in the short and long term.
About Kyle Banton-Jones:

worked in the zoo field for almost 10 years. During this time he became very passionate
about behavioral husbandry of the animals in his care, and through this passion he founded

through the advancement of behavioral husbandry practices. Wild Enrichment provides
enrichment build guides, articles and resources about training and enrichment concepts as
well as consulting services for facilities looking to start a world class enrichment program or
improve an existing one.
